Pin assignment of harting connector dimmer

Two ways to connect
There are two ways to connect the internal wiring of the harting. You see two tables and drawing in outlines. There is the so called 'Dutch norm', introduced by Flashlight / NOB, this is the standard way in the Netherlands. (see table 1 / figure 1) And you have the DIN standard, like is used in Europe. (see table 2 / figure 2). We deliver for customers in the Netherlands the harting wired like the 'Dutch norm' and for customers from abroad we deliver the harting wired according the DIN standard.

If you like your harting wired in another way, you can let us know in advance (when you order), or you can change it yourself according to the following directions.

How to change the internal wiring of the harting-connector from 'Dutch norm' to DIN standard
1. DISCONNECT THE MAINS: DANGEROUS TO LIFE !!!
2. unscrew at dimmer outside the harting-connector-body
3. remove the bridge completely
4. connect the wires one by one as follows:
· 1 stays 1
· 3 becomes 2
· 5 becomes 3
· 7 becomes 4
· 9 becomes 5
· 11 becomes 6
5. bow the bridge so that the feet are in line. Srew the bridge on contact 9 t/m 16
6. screw the harting-connector-body back on the dimmer
Change the harting at both sides of the dimmer. If you have any questions, let us know.
